Side is an all year round resort with flights into Antalya and transfer is just  45minutes. Situated on a peninsula and flanked by two stretches of golden beach, the pretty resort town of Side is a jumble of old and new, late-night bars and restaurants mixed in among the ruins of the ancient city.

 In the centre of town is the magnificent 2nd-century theatre with beautiful views towards the sea, and the remains of the Roman Baths houses an impressive collection of artifacts. Busy streets that lead down to the sea are lined with souvenir shops selling typical Turkish handicrafts like carpets, jewellery and leather goods. There's no shortage of places to shop, eat and drink. Colourful shops friendly bars and wide choices of restaurants are located in the colonnaded main streets and narrow alleyways of the resort centre.

The Ski resort at Saklikent is one of a few places in the world that you can ski in the morning followed by an afternoon swim in the warm Mediterranean Sea in the Spring months. 

A short Bus ride to the bustling town of Manavagat, where you can take a boat trip to the beautiful waterfalls, or just sit and enjoy a drink or a meal at one of the many open air restaurants that are situated along the river bank is not to be missed.
