Beach Sports A wide choice available everywhere including volleyball, wind surfing,para-sailing,water skiing, jet skiing, and banana boat.
Swim with dolphins Swimming with dolphins is not something ordinarily associated with a visit to Turkey, but with the establishment of dolphinariums close to Side, things are set to change. Dolphinland in Antalya, which is about one hours drive from Taurus Apartment, boasts a sizeable Aquapark and Dolpinarium where visitors can enjoy daily dolphin, whale and sea lion shows. Even closer to Side (around a 30 minute drive) is Moonlight Park in Kemer which has a 800-seat capacity dolphin arena and other pool mammals with twice-daily shows, clients may also swim and dive with the dolphins.
Horse Riding Centre’s which cater for the very young and upwards are located around the resort and in the local (5kms) scenic pine forest, picnic areas of Sorgun and Titreyen Gol.
Jeep Safari Routes available from Side to Beskonak take you on a twisting drive up into the beautiful 14kmlong Köprülü Canyon National Park where the view at every turn is more spectacular than the last.
Mountaineering For the real Mountain Tracker and Climber, the Beydag Mountain has peaks from 600-3086 meters, offering a wide variety of climbing opportunities. Climbs to the important peaks of Tekedorugu, Bakirli Dag can be completed in one day.
Rafting An exciting,day out which gives you the opportunity to race the rapids whilst at the same time view the breathtaking cedar forests of the öprülü Canyon national park.
Quad Bike and Racing Safari is a new sport here, but catching on with professional centres set up in Manavgat and also in the National Park, Beskonak.
Bird Watching Due to its' geographical location on the edge of Europe, Asia and Africa, Turkey has a tremendous range of birdlife. May is probably the best month when there is the possibility of spotting as many as 100 species including birds of prey, buntings, Bee-eaters and the wonderful storks nesting. However Spring and Autumn are probably the most exciting times because of the north-south migration.
Beach and River fishing have been popular sports for a long time. Fishing can be done without a license in non-prohibited and non-military areas as long as you're an amateur, using amateur and non commercial equipment, muIti-hooked lines, and fishing nets not weighing more than 5 kilograms.
Diving The Eurpean Diving Centre in Alanya, Turkey offers daily dive trips from our traditional Turkish style hard boats and stepping into the lovely warm, crystal clear Mediterranean Sea you will be impressed by the water clarity. Dive sites ranging from the shallow calm reefs to diving underneath the fantastic 13th century castle, is a dive not to be missed. Skiing At Saklikent, meaning "The Hidden City". Only 50km behind Antalya there is the possibility of skiing in the morning and then swimming in the warm Med waters in the afternoons of the spring months.
